Candace Holden's current show "The Many Faces of Water" has wrapped up, thanks to everyone who came in to see the show! Palliser Art And Framing is pleased to welcome Calgary artist Barbara Janman to our roster of house artists. Barbara has been creating beautiful artwork in wood and stone for many years, and has added another dimension to the artwork we showcase. Please drop in and have a look at the soapstone carvings Barbara has placed in our gallery.
House artist, Sharon Lynn Williams has recently brought in some new artwork, and here is a sample of what is now hanging on the gallery walls, some new oils, and some new encaustic works. Please do drop by and see the new pieces!

![]() Meet Jan Chalupnicek, hard at work in his workshop. Jan also enjoys getting outside in the various seasons and painting in the field, or as it's called in the art world, "plein air". In Alberta, it's also known as "freezing your butt off", or chasing your easel and paints down the hillside during a Chinook blast! Jan's show runs from October 2nd to December 31st. Jan will be available as we host an artist's reception in the gallery in the latter half of October, from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm.
