Well, that was summer, and it has apparently come to a crashing halt....the best we can hope for is a bit of mild weather in late fall, now that September is almost gone!
We are in the last week of the current show, "Reflections", and with that we will be changing the solo show soon. If you've had your eye on one of Sheila's pieces, don't put it off, come on by!
We also would like to welcome Brenda Banda Johnson in the gallery. Brenda had a successful solo show here in January '17, and is pleased to be part of the regular roster of house artists.
And now for the new exhibition, we welcome Calgary artist Sheila Schaetzle, showcasing a collection of her works, tilted "Reflections", from July 1st through September 30th.

Meet Jan Chalupnicek, hard at work in his workshop.
Jan also enjoys getting outside in the various seasons and painting in the field, or as it's called in the art world, "plein air". In Alberta, it's also known as "freezing your butt off", or chasing your easel and paints down the hillside during a Chinook blast!
Jan's show runs from October 2nd to December 31st.
Jan will be available as we host an artist's reception in the gallery in the latter half of October, from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm.
Come on out and meet Jan and learn about his motivation and passion in art!
Please be sure to be on the guest list and receive your invitation by sending an e-mail to the gallery if you are not currently on the newsletter list.
