Palliser Art And Framing is pleased to welcome Calgary artist Barbara Janman to our roster of house artists. Barbara has been creating beautiful artwork in wood and stone for many years, and has added another dimension to the artwork we showcase. Meet Jan Chalupnicek, hard at work in his workshop.
Jan also enjoys getting outside in the various seasons and painting in the field, or as it's called in the art world, "plein air". In Alberta, it's also known as "freezing your butt off", or chasing your easel and paints down the hillside during a Chinook blast!
Jan's show runs from October 2nd to December 31st.
Jan will be available as we host an artist's reception in the gallery in the latter half of October, from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm.
